Can't recommend these highly enough. Best backpacking underwear I have found by far. You can wear them for days on end with no stink and no diminution of support or comfort. Have never chafed me. Equally comfortable at the office. If you hand-wash them, they dry amazingly rapidly. It is absolutely true that you could travel the world for months on end with just two pair of these.
As to the sizing issues, I am a 34 waist. The white mediums fit me perfectly, but the black mediums are a little small. (I have several pairs of each.) Also, the white fabric has more give and is much superior to the black fabric--or maybe this is just how they feel because the sizes are slightly different.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, no chafing

The sports brief works overall, bit it could use some improvements. The brief if not true to size. I normally wear a med, but I have reduced to a small. After a few washes, the elastic in the leg of the brief became twisted and somewhat unpleasant during long hikes. This is one area of improvement that could be made in the product. In addition, I have worn these briefs on several occassions hiking, but the was a couple of hikes where I was chaffed by the seam in the pouch of the brief. If this was made into a seamless brief, it would enhance the overall fit and wear of the brief. They are very light weight and easy to maintain on extended hikes, and I would recommend them. Just be alerted to the items I have addressed in my review.

Golfing in the South means sweating... and these briefs are all I will wear May through September. Never would have spent this kind of money for a pair of underwear, but they were given to me as a gift and now I'm a believer. I would normally wear a Large, needed an extra large. My only real complaint: I like a higher cut on the leg, and a lower waist - lowrise brief? If ExOfficio ever comes out with one, I imagine a lot of "believers" would refurbish their underwear drawer.

Cons: Expensive, choice of style

Light weight. Dries very quickly. Very comortable especially in the business section. Great to travel with. This product will replace all in my underwear drawer.

I have been wearing ex-Officio undies for sometime - a long time? Maybe? over 20 years? at least it seems that long! and I love them, but... these sport briefs are not true to size - I wear a medium and these are very small. I would recommend a large if you normally wear a medium. I also got a pair of the regular briefs in medium and they are fine - fit perfect... Not a slam of EO, as I love them and the briefs, just an honest opinion... I kept these because they will do and serve the purpose (and because it would have been almost as much to send them back as I paid for them and it was too much hassle)...

The first thing you feel is that it is very comfortable. The wasteband is wide but a good fit. Haven't had these for very long, so cannot yet comment on durability.

I've been using these briefs for a couple years now. I love everything about them including using them as a sports brief.
The only thing that I might add is a wicking pad in the front.

I've owned about 20 pairs of these underwear over the last 5 years and witnessed some design changes, some disastrous, others merely annoying. Thank you for correcting the oversight of the missing elastic in the legs. That underwear design amounted to little more than a loincloth in terms of support. Missing this time, mysteriously, is the fly/flap which is standard on all briefs (save for the most recent redesign). If this is another ill-conceived cost-saving measure, then please reconsider--these things are noticed!

The model you're referring to is the "Sport Brief," an option without a fly. The fold-over fly is still a standard feature on our Men's Brief (1241-0008). If you have any other comments or suggestions, we'd love to hear them.

I normally wear medium yet ordered this style in large. It's a fine fit and comfortable. I'm not claiming this item runs small--just that I wanted a little more room and ordering up a size worked for me. Waist band fits comfortably and secure. Great product!

Okay, internet. This is how far we've come together. I'm rating underwear online. Thing is, these aren't just underwear. They really are adventure wear. I'll save you the details but I'm a few weeks in and I will have to admit that I'm starting to buy the whole "17 countries. 6 weeks. One pair of underwear. (Ok, maybe two.)" tagline.

They don't dry overnight. Be careful putting them in a drier! On the plus side, they are comfortable.

I started out just wearing these on travel, then for golfing & biking -- now I am replacing all my underwear with them. When traveling, they can be washed in the sink, hung on a hanger to dry, and they will be dry enough to wear in just a couple hours. I highly recommend this underwear. LAUNDRY TIP: DON'T PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. Just hang dry them; they will last much longer.

I have been using this product for several years and really love the comfort. I like these briefs/shorts a lot. They ride nice and low on my hips, much more so than the regular Give-N-Go® Briefs. The material is comfortable,and they seem to have good durability. I wish they were a bit heavier (to provide better control), and came in different colors, (like blue & green). I have no idea what "Adventure Experience" is or means...this is a stupid question.
